SON DEL SOL…

Son Del Sol is a musical band that focuses on the traditional sounds from the South American Andes as well as on a variety of other Latin American rhythms. From the upbeat percussion to the mellow sounds of the traditional pan flutes, SON DEL SOL transports the audiences through the colorful richness of the Andean folklore.

Son Del Sol use traditional hand made instruments from the ancient Andean culture such as zampona, quena, charango as well as guitar.

Its members are talented and experienced vocalists and instrumentalist that have won local and national musical competitions. Some of the musicians of SON DEL SOL are also members of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, ASCAP.

Son Del Sol will be accompanied by dancing by Guisella.

SON DEL SOL is also available for educational workshops focusing on ancient rhythms, culture and civilization of the Andes.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

-The vocalist of SON DEL SOL was the winner of the Hispanic Song Festival on the Caribbean category in MA.

-Finalist in the Talent America singing competition held in NY.

-The vocalist of SON DEL SOL signed a record deal with the label Signature Sound with the band Viva Quetzal.

-SON DEL SOL has performed in schools, colleges and universities throughout the United States.
